The Local Aboriginal Networks (LANs)
LANs are local networks run by volunteers. They provide a safe and welcoming space for the Aboriginal community to connect, share, learn and lead.
LANs bring Aboriginal people together to:
- set priorities
- develop community plans
- improve social cohesion
- empower Aboriginal Victorians to participate in community life
Gathering Places are community owned and operated places that provide opportunities for people to connect and deliver services.
